Cars in Black

Yes, the Q5 DVD plays movies, too!

Of course, I had to test it with Cars – and it worked fine, with excellent SURROUND sound too :D

When not playing movies, other center display options include Sirius satellite radio, and iPod track details:

Does this vid playing feature actually work if you are driving? If yes…. and people complain about cup holders…? If no what’s the point?

    No!
You can hear the audio while driving, but the screen does not display

Yesterday I saw 3 Q7s? They didn’t seem to have the LED running lights like yours?

Not to rag on about the vid thing … I guess I’m assuming it does play the full vid and not just show the title screen(?)… Soooo… I get them being in the back seats for kids, although I seemed to have grown up without them, but I still have to wonder… why would a person sit in the car to watch a vid when the car is parked???

Q7 … older, much bigger design. Many differences.

“why would a person sit in the car” … because?

I guess if one had to wait to pick up someone at a train station or wait to pick up a kid from school or other type “Parked” events that would help pass the time.

I guess it’s something I’ll never fully understand like… using a GPS all the time or even very much at all. But I guess if you’re a full on gadget dude like you are then it all makes sense. Me, I like my iPhone but hardly ever keep it on and if I do only if there is a real reason. I know for most it’s like an umbilical cord to life, not for me, must be my age and the fact I’m not 20-30 and working a full time anymore, I like my separation from the madding crowd.

I guess the Medium is no longer the Message for me anymore… Sorry, Aldus H.
