June 8, 2008:

MOT2008 packing day

Yesterday was packing day for MINIsOnTop 2008, putting together almost 220 registration packs to be mailed out next week, with grateful help from Theo & Carol (and Cooper), Michael, Brian & Sarah, and Sheena. I ended up being too busy to wield my camera - but thankfully Michael had time for a few shots, and put them together in to a great cartoon:

    Very funny. Not sure what ” Look all you want - I hid yours” means? Inside joke I presume? If it weren’t for the weather I think we’d move out there. Seems more fun than the club I belong to. ;-0

    I hope the stuff I sent will help with your charity drive.

    Robert - it refers to the reg packet for Sheena (who is standing behind me in that pic) … but I didn’t actually hide it, it was just way down in the order!

    Ah, upon further investigation, the program he uses is Mac based. I’m gonna get it as I see much fun for TwistyBlitz ahead. Thanx Michael.

    Hey Ian I’ve been reading your posts for some time now, and I decided on purchasing a Mini. My British Racing Green R56 Cooper S is awaiting transport and will soon be in my garage. I got every possible option except for the navigation. I Plan on installing a mini-itx computer with a 7inch touch screen in order to utilize it as a media center. I was wondering if you possibly had any suggestions in which i could use in order to do so.
