Hi from Holland.

Not having fun yet due to a cold I got on the way over but the weather has been very nice and Californ-ish, so far. Nothing like spending your holliday in bed.

Tyres are soemthing I'm not happy with on any of my MINIs so far. Either they wear out to soon or are to hard a ride or just don't perform well if I get a high mileage tyre. Good luck with these.

Thanks, Dave.
I carry a donut if I take GPMINI on a long journey, but since the only place for it is behind the passenger seat, I don't carry it all the time!

Ian,

I have the Pilot Sport tyres on the Purple PT and after a few thousand miles of scruffing them in, the wet and dry weather performance is spectacular! I would suspect that on a GP it would be even better! If they can make a huge difference on a PTC, then think of the difference on your car. They are a bit more prone to punctures, especially roofer nails and other such stuff dropped out of the back of contractor trucks. Got a donut spare on-board?
