MINIsOnTop 2008

Activites for the North East “MINI event of the year” have been progressing behind the scenes for a while - but tonight, registration has been opened.
This years event occurs over the weekend of June 27/28, giving us the chance to not clash with previous use of the big tent at the base of Mount Washington - there’s also a curious coincidence in that the summit of Mount Washington is at 6,288′ and we’ll be driving up there on 6.28.8 (if you don’t mind unusual date writing!)

This summer’s MINI events will be busy too, with MINI Meet East happening close by and just one week later (I’ve heard a vague rumour of other major events around the same time/location, too …)

The Tshirt design for MOT2008 expands on last years “MINI-per-year” theme, adding a Clubman:

The Clubman colors match those of this years raffle prize donation from Herb Chambers MINI of Boston - a two year lease of a MINI Cooper Clubman! More details on this amazing prize once we have raffle tickets available.

    I still think my MOT clocks and plaques were the coolest, but obviously “I like eggs!” because no one, well maybe 3 people, did. No One even claimed the Gift Certificate. ;-(

    Such a cool event, maybe someday I will see you there.

    Yes, at the Clubman intro, Paul announced that this year’s MTTS even will be held in the Boston area and right around the same date.

    Sad for me as I’ll probably be at another wedding!

    I’ve mirrored the registration form here - but you might want to check with your ISP as to why you can’t access MINIsOnTop …
