After a week with that Ford, I'll bet you're ready to trade a GP for a Focus! Well maybe with full race suspension and Cosworth powered.

I came across a bear once while camping up in that area. Kinda spooky as I was miles from my car. I just froze in my tracks and waited for it to leave. It finally did after about twenty minutes of foraging around my small campsite. I made a stupid error and did not suspend my food from a tree branch for safety.

Great pictures. Amazing how big they are. Did you get the bears name? Wonder if he's related to my bears? ;).
Is that your new Tom Tom?

Thanks, Theo!
I wish I'd had my "real" camera - but the DSLR is off for repair after I dropped it in Florida back in September.

Ian,

We spent some time in Sequoia on our x-country jaunt. Unfortunately, photos cannot capture the true scale of the trees but you have done a great job in your snaps.

According to the locals in Three Rivers (?) on the SW side of the park, the best way to see Sequoia is on foot or, if driving, by convertible.

The bear was an interesting touch!
