I guess they don't have a shortage of customers, so are quite happy to let the 'problem' ones go - kind of like Sprint closing those accounts of the people who contacted customer service too often just as the iPhone came out and people would have been looking for a way out of their contracts..! As it turns out the site was simply too much for their system to handle. I find it odd that they initially blamed it on some sort of attack. Great customer service.
