July 14, 2007:
Micro cars
There are some cars even smaller than a MINI - of course the Mini, but smaller still! How about the soon-to-arrive-in-USA Smart ForTwo:
This and many other small and unusual cars attended todays annual Lars Anderson Motor Museum Microcar & Minicar classic, near Boston. And I finally got around to going there!
As well as showing the cars, many owners offer free rides: little tours of the estate, very popular!
Also present, and the first time I’ve seen it, was Pauls incredibly modified classic Mini - check out the engine:
(go back in time to read a GBMINI post listing some of the mods)

Who else went to this?
I would have been there, but I’m working on a film which is shooting every weekend in July.

Thanks Jordan - I guess I need to go to the Smart website …
Jared, Rick & Laurie were there but I didn’t see them; I did see Richard, and lots of MINIs parked outside that I didn’t recognize.
It wasn’t a properly organized MINI meet, just a “hey, check this out” post on MINI2

Very kool. I wish I could have been there. Also missed the MINI WEST Meet.
Someday I plan on visiting this museum in Madison, Georgia.
