UPCOMING: Meet the R56 with MINI of Peabody

MINI of Peabody are holding an R56 unveiling event at their sister 7 Centennial Drive location (just off route 128 a couple of miles from the MINI dealership - where the “OctoberFast” event was held).

Date: Friday February 16th between 6pm & 10pm. Look forward to excellent hospitality as always: food, drink and maybe a drive of the new MINI!

    wow - do I detect a hint of enthusiasm there? Can’t wait to hear your impressions. No whining though - unless it has mysteriously turned your two cars into R56s the looks haven’t hurt you at all..

    Hey! I’m allowed to have opinions! I’m allowed to be disappointed that the looks don’t inspire me.
    I’m also allowed to change my mind if (big if) the R56 looks better in person than in pictures.

    My enthusiasm is for a MINI gathering :)

    Hey, I didn’t say you can’t have opinions - I read your blog to hear your opinions. But I’m allowed to call you out when I think you’re off base. Specifically a headline that reads “Spoiling a good thing”, when I don’t see how a new Mini design however good or bad spoils your own good things one bit.

    Barbara and I will be there! If mother nature washes away all this road salt (South of Boston) we may bring the British Open Classic, too. Free food, right?
