Ruthie

I read today the very sad news that another MINI friend, Ruthie, passed away recently!

See this MINI2 thread for condolences.

Like her friend Ed / MaxaMINI who died last year, she touched many MINI foks online; her many threads included a favourite of mine - the Amateur Photographers Roll Call on MINI2 (I think you have to be a MINI2 member to access this off-topic thread).

I first met Ruthie at Eds memorial last year, and happily met her again at the Dining with Ed gathering - now perhaps she & Ed can meet up once more.

    I was slow to find out about this terrible news and it completely floored me. I only met Ruthie a few times, but like Ed, she was one of those people you instantly felt completely relaxed with as if you’d known them for ages.
    Sad, sad news.
