Tax B.S. from MINI and California
I just posted a bit of a rant over on GPMINI; I’d appreciate any readers with some knowledge of “sales tax”, “first use tax” and California / Massachusetts interactions to head over there, have a read, and leave some comments - thanks!

This issue has been happily eliminated thanks to a very acceptable response from MINI USA:
… we will handle the inquiries and response on your behalf. You will not be responsible to pay the State of California Use Tax …
