It’s been ten days since my last MINI …
… and I’m about done with vacation now (however I don’t head home till Friday)!
On the way in to the villa we’re staying at (in “Holiday”!) we passed a MINI/BMW dealership, so with overcast skies I dropped the others at the beach and headed back there today … MINIs everywhere at Ferman MINI!
The big white thing is what I’m driving at the moment:
I also saw my first ever Solar Red MINIs - including one right next to Chili Red for useful comparison:
Inside the dealership was a bit disappointing - no-one came to ask if I needed help, and when I did track someone down to ask about MINI merchandise, I learned that I needed to leave the dealership and cross the lot to BMW, then go down to the depths … once there, the parts guys knew very little about MINI stuff (unlike at MINI of Peabody) and I couldn’t find anything to buy.
I did see this GP poster though - not seen one at MoP but maybe it’s new:

You, my friend, have a special dealership where you live. Believe me! Most I have been too are of that dealers ilk, SAD.
I love that Solar Red and would love to paint my CR/Blk that colour with a silver roof.
Have a safe trip and don’t forget to go to your local MA ( MINI’s Anonymous) when you get home.
I guess my Big Find was a dude.

Furman is where my Mom and Dad (Rita and Gerry) got their Mini. I don’t know about the dealership per se, but my folks say they take excellent care of the local Mini club. They sponsor many of the events
Maybe I just got unlucky when I visited
