April 5, 2006:
Silly weather!
Last Friday the temperature was in the mid-70s and beautifully sunny - Margaret took me away for a surprise weekend trip and we got sun-burned riding in her convertible …
Today, it’s almost down to freezing and we have big snow flakes dropping from the sky!

Sorry Ian–it’s my fault for washing my car!

Holy Cwap! it’s nutsy here in SoCal also. But I’ll take mine as cwappy as it is.

We usually have one last snowfall in April here in West Michigan. Nothing so far this year (knock on wood).
Hope there’s no accumulation.

Ian, when I brought my daughter’s MC from Boston to SoCal I washed and waxed it for her. The car only had 13,000 on it and I noticed it had some rust here and there which I didn’t see on my MCS I bought in Charlotte NC. Is that a continual problem with cars where you live? Or was it just lack of maintenance by the owner? I found a rust when I swiveled the mirrors out and in the engine bay.

I’ve not noticed any rust on my MINIs - but then I haven’t looked for it either
