Whiteout snow!
Yesterday mornings weather started with light snow, but by lunch it had turned to rain - Margaret & I met and headed into town for lunch. However, during lunch, the weather worsened again. Then suddenly there was a flash and rumble - this winter storm had turned nasty with thunder & lightning.
The 100 feet walk from restaurant to car were a nightmare and driving the couple of miles back home took half an hour; although I was on regularly travelled roads I often had no idea where I was! Luckily GBMINI did not struggle too much.
When we got home, we were without power so we watched & listened to the storm and hoped for power to be restored before the house got cold (only 3-4 hours luckily) …

Anyone interested in a MINIs winter performance should check out Josh’ website where he reports very positively on the snow tires recently put on his MINI … I still run aftermarket all-seasons (Pirelli P Zero Neros) but Josh report makes me wonder about upgrading …
