June 23, 2005:

Can you see me now?

Had a report from Al on Cape Cod that he can’t see any of the pics in recent GBMINI.net posts (just “red X” boxes) … I am assuming this is an isolated issue with his setup, because I see everything fine at work & home.

But just to check - is anyone else having issues seeing the posts / pics here?

    Everything looks great here….

    although as a sidenote I couldn’t sign-in for comments using TypeKey…kept reporting that “The validation failed”.

    Firefox on Windows XP here (Linux too sometimes) and everything shows up as it should.

    If he is using IE, there is a setting that will allow images to not load. You should check if it’s a problem he is having with just this site or all internet sites.

    Oh yea, and recommend switching to Firefox

    Ian,
    Guess I better respond. Just upgraded to Firefox 1.0.4. No change, just text and empty boxes. All text to picture links work, but main page load is zilch! I use Ian’s page as my home page too.
    This suddenly happened two days ago, w/o any changes on my part. Running out of ideas.

    My aunt had a Plymouth Volare from the 70’s that had the smoke button! No… wait… that was just the ignition. Nevermind.
