Painting Bonnet Stripes

I called Julian at Sublime Restorations this afternoon to check up on GBMINI#3 and he confirmed that the bonnet stripes were being painted … When I visited Saturday we agreed on the design, based on another mock-up panel he had done for me:

(I abandoned the original idea of chrome stripes due to the complexity and expense of reaching a reasonable result)

So with luck I will soon be driving GBMINI#3 again, and I can return the smoky Neon [yuk!]

    Wow! Sounds like #3 will be quite the looker when all done. And, BTW, you win the ‘crappiest loaner car’ contest so far :)

    Mmmm, Dunkin Donuts! We don’t have them here in L.A. but I get my fix whenever I’m in Chicago.
