Counterfeit MINI Coopers!

This scary subject has been discussed recently on MotoringFile; there have always been counterfeits in the world (Pradha, Rolek, Ray-Boom) but now counterfeit MINI Coopers are appearing:

While MINI fanatics like myself can often spot the counterfeits, many people cannot and are tricked into danger – they might expect the same great looks, performance and handling as a real MINI Cooper, and they will be sadly and perhaps dangerously disappointed!

The counterfeit cannot handle the slalom course like the real thing!

The Counter Counterfeit Commission is doing all it can to alert people to this problem and they need our help! Spread the word and save lives:

    I just saw the commercial on TV here in LA not more than 10 minutes ago. FUNNY.

    I ordered the DVD for a fellow MF follower who lives in Germany but it, the site, suggested it would take between 6 & 8 weeks to get.

    i laugh my @ss off EVERY time that commerical comes on… i was trying to explain the ad to a few buddies of mine after my soccer game and they were *not* ‘getting it.’

    thanks to you this will no longer be the case.

    SO BUMMED the d@mn DVD is $20! i mean, c’mon, $20?!?!

    I agree $20 is expensive – especially if it has only 9 minutes of stuff on it.
