“Big Snow”

After yesterdays light snow which did not affect our lunch at Woodmans the real “big snow” has been falling all through the night. However it is very light and with loads of wind blowing drifts & sculptures, the outdoor scene this morning is strange …
Here are our cars - clear enough that you could drive straight off!

But just a few feet away snow is drifted up almost over the mailbox - maybe four feet!

And our next door neighbours porch not only has an impressive sculpture on top, but also is filled with snow - they won’t be coming out the door that way for a while!

(more pics in my other gallery)
For more perspective on the snow check out Jareds Gallery, and Ruthies and MaxaMinis snow covered MINI pics …
Update: this is what the cars look like from out on the street:

The street itself is now impassable with a foot or more of snow …

    those pictures are amazing Ian!
we don’t get snow where I’m living, in fact we’re expecting temperatures up around 37c for the rest of this week :) (that’s almost 100 degrees F)

I made it home safe from NH…only 4″ of snow there but temps as low as -20!
Here are two photos I took tonight of my MINI parked in the driveway, with the snow piling well above its roof! 1 2

Do ya have to somehow go to work? I’d just call in and say hey I’m going to BAJA and by the way….I’ll never be back…thank you very much.

Great photos Ian. I knew that you would have some good posts. I tried to get on the site yesterday, but the connection kept timing out. Did you guys loose power or a server outage? We got about 6-8 inches of snow here in Michigan, but nothing compared to what you guys are dealing with.

My hosts server was down for a long time yesterday - very frustrating!
Nothing to do with the weather because the server is in Germany.
