It’s been minutes since I last visited MINI Peabody!

I took GBMINI in this afternoon to have the front bumper removed and checked over, and re-aligned after my little accident. There seemed to be no significant damage, but also very little play in the bumper supports - it took a lot of work for the MINI Peabody techs to get everything straight but it was worth it; GBMINI does not look damaged any more :) While waiting I watched Lisa & Adrian take delivery of their new MINI:

I chatted with some other MINI owners (and potential MINI owners) and checked out a rather disturbing mod on one MINI (what you can’t see in this picture is that the car is painted “primer black”!?):

    Ian,I saw that primer car there last week and it had plates on it.It looks in your picture that the rear plate is missing.Did it come in trade?

    I don’t know - but I hope not! I believe that there are some “issues” with it - the car may have seen a little too much action …
