February 14, 2004:

GBMINI first birthday

I have been debating when to “celebrate” the “birthday” of GBMINI - there is the week it was built, when it arrived on US soil, when it arrived at MINI Peabody or when I collected it …
I have chosen February 14, which is when I first saw GBMINI:

    Thanks :) To be totally honest I have still not noticed significant differences from the JCW upgrade! I think there is definitely more torque at higher revs, but I just don’t drive up at 4500+rpms enough to use that improvement (yet, anyway).
    I think I need to “play” more …

    We have the same birthday! I took delivery of Bruiser on Feb 14, 03 — but since I didn’t order, I didn’t follow its entire birthing process. I like that it’s on Valentines Day — I like to say it was the perfect day to begin a love affair.
    Bruiser is an IB/B ‘03 MC.
    MINIUSA actually sent us an email birthday card to commemorate!
