GBMINI goes Ice Racing!
Today was a VERY VERY VERY cold day!
I went “ice racing” in New Hampshire, organized by the local BMW Car Club of America on a frozen lake, with zero shelter from the icy winds in temperatures between 7f and 14f … I was only saved from certain death (or frostbite at least) by Diane, who loaned me a woolly hat.
I have a lot of pictures (of course) but here is one that Rick took featuring GBMINI:

Here is GBMINI on ice! Not thin ice, but very slippy …

There were at least ten other MINIs, including many “old faces”:

Its good to see somebody ice racing out there. Here in New England the weather has been *terrible*. It has barely dopped below freezing a couple days, and certainly hasn’t snowed. Suffice it to say we have no ice, or snowy neighborhoods.

But this was three years ago! As you say, we won’t be doing it this year.
